I submitted a visitor visa application on sept 4th 2021 and got biometrics instructions on sep 5th. I took biometrics appointment for sep 27th. But with the new instructions on ircc website of submitting a new application for those who applied before sept 7th, i submitted another application on Sept 9th but have not got any biometrics instruction until now (I’m asking this because I got it in 24hours the first time) . Should i be getting another biometrics instruction letter for the second application too or the first one will work for the ? Usually how long does it take to get the biometrics instructions letter??
Another question is do I have to withdraw the initial application? If so, is submitting a webform the only option to withdraw? Can someone please provide me with more details for my situation that could be helpful. It’s kind of emergency for me to go to Canada at
the moment, so any information would be of great help.
