I think they work pretty hard. I mean, processing a few MILLION applications a year is a bit of a chore.

and I think your spouse can not sign or you can not have co-signer.

Wow, that's pretty high. They have to prove a high income IN their country and so does their child/grandchild in Canada? ;/

I could not determine that the applicant i.e. the parent grand parent need to prove a "high income IN their country..." as mentioned above.

It is just the sponsor in Canada who needs to show the income. Are you referring to the "proof of funds" that the parent grand parent needs to show. If yes that seems to be correct. And additionally the visiting parent, grand parent must buy medical insurance from a Canadian Insurance provider....as well as having undergone medical check up from DMP.

Unclear as no reference to the co-signor exclusion (or inclusion). It states - "minimum necessary income" in the chart:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5256E8.asp#LICO

Table 3 – Low Income Cut-Off (LICO)
This table applies to all provinces except Quebec.

Size of Family Unit Minimum necessary income
1 person (your child or grandchild) $22,229
2 persons $27,674
3 persons $34,022
4 persons $41,307
5 persons $46,850
6 persons $52,838
7 persons $58,827
More than 7 persons, for each additional person, add $5,989

The other reference exists as below:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5256E2.asp

What must my child or grandchild do to meet the LICO minimum?
You child or grandchild's income must meet or exceed the minimum necessary, as identified annually in the Income Tables and Charts.

In the letter of invitation he must calculate his family size. This factor determines the amount of income required of him to

Step Action
1 Your child or grandchild counts:
Himself
His spouse or common-law partner,
His dependent children, if applicable
2 He counts the number of persons he will be supporting :
You, and
Your spouse or common-law partner, if applicable.
3 He adds the number of persons covered by steps 1 and 2. The total represents his family size.
4
He looks at the LICO (table 3) in the Income Tables and Charts in this guide to determine if he meets the minimum required for his family size.

Note: For children and grandchildren residing in Quebec, we provide the Quebec income scale (Tables 1 and 2).

5 To demonstrate that he meets the minimum income required, your child or grandchild may include one of the documents listed in the Document Checklist (IMM 5484).

My parents wanted to go here in Canada next year as visitor, i'm wondering if they can apply to Super Visa eventhough i already submitted papers for sponsorship? Should they apply for Super Visa or just the regular one?

Well, I just assumed they would have to, since that's what usually happens in other cases of visit Visas. Besides, it says they'd have to prove they are financially "tied" to their country, that's just a nice way of saying that if you have no money, you may not get in.

The real issue is going to be finding a company who provides the type of insurance policy CIC is requesting. I've yet to find one in Canada that does but someone will soon enough. New product to add and make some money.
