CIC has requested new passport for my son since his passport expires June 15. They have given me a 7 days window to submit. However, the passport was submitted to embassy only yesterday in the normal mode and it would take about 15 days to get it back.
Should my next best step to upload the receipt that mentions that I have applied, and once I have the passport back, I can replace the document?
I called passport processing office, they said its not possible to upgrade application to tatkal since already submitted.
