Not sure kung background check na talaga to kasi nagbago yung format ng gckey pero kung indicated na in progress na talaga. Anyway gano katagal usually ang background check?

Helo po...Anu po hiningi nila sa inyo nung January 31.?... kami po nung Feb. 02 sila nag ask ng documents sa amin... Ganun rin po wala pinag bago..Cno po VO nio?

Nag ask sila ng Personal history kasi kulang pala yung naipasa namin sa application nagkaron ng gap ung personal history ng husband ko. Yun lang yung hiningi nila sana wala ng kasunod na hingin para hindi na tumagal ulit. Since monday pa kami nagiintay ng update kasi usually 1 month nagkakaron na ng update and today nkita ko yung gckey background check in progress na pero iba na yung format nila. Kung wala pa nagbago sa updates sa inyo yung gckey mo ba hindi nakalagay sa background check is "we are processing your background check"?

Ganito kapag di pa nag-start:

Before kasi ang nakalagay lang is "not started" & "in process". So ibig sabihin talagang in process na pala kami

When did you land and when did you guys get married?


If you got married after landing, yes, you can do inland application. File the OWP together with the spousal sponsorship application. He can always file for TRV extension online to maintain legal status while app is in process.

Hi I landed last 2011, myhusband landed feb 6.. and we did get married june 18, 2016. For TRV i cant apply for OWP right? or can I ? but need someone to have a job offer? sorry for taking so long to reply didnt see any notifs.

I am so confused, they sent me an email stating they need additional documents
but then in mycic it says review of additional documents is not applicable.. does that just mean theyre waiting for me to submit them still? I am waiting for my husband to get his AOM but he will go tomorrow (manila time) it was his bday yesterday so hes hung over and cant make it today. hahaha.

Haha. ;D Don't worry about myCIC. By the way, are they requesting the 'Original PSA AOM' or just a scanned copy?

I think a scanned copy is fine because in the email stating the methods of how to submit documentation through mycic and email is accepted!

If it contains the word 'Original', it has to be submitted by mail, I believe.

Bukas release na ng embassy ang visa nyo pabalik vfs tapos after a day sa VFS send naman nila via courier, at padating na! Congratulations... Kelan po flight? Am planning last week of April or first week of May!

Yep. There have been instances where they require the 'Original' one, but yours could be submitted via email or myCIC. ;D Go directly for the email route, it's easier and faster.
