If you don't mind me asking, Are you in the US on B1/B2 visa or a study or work visa? Because I am trying to understand if my application (F-1 visa holder) would go to Ottawa office or NY/LA office. And if that would make a difference in how fast the application is being processed.

Thanks! We are on OPT after the study visa. And I think visitor visa goes to Ottawa, and work visa goes to NY/LA.

Is there anyone in this group/thread who has applied for a spouse visitor visa (as a PR/citizen) and their application was approved? Any info will be really appreciated!

Yes, I am a Canadian Citizen, applied for a visitor visa for my wife, and still waiting a decision.

@hossamb88 and @SWAT_PAT when did y'all apply? I applied on Oct 10th as the 2nd application on the new portal? Have you seen any TRVs being approved for spouses. I applied from India and am a PR

I've applied visitor visa for my spouse in India on Sep 26 on new portal, Biometrics done on Oct 4. No progress at all. Biometric status says, We have not received your fingerprints.

Biometrics is all about fingerprints. And it includes a photo as well. If fingerprints are not received by them, the bio is not complete. Which means ur application is not complete. Hence no result. I hope I'm wrong here, but i think even ur 1st business day of processing is not considered to be started. Pls correct me if I'm wrong

I already applied my visitors visa last September 11 and I'm already have 8 days to submit my form but why I can't upload my documents it says Error uploading

But I can see biometrics information in the portal (Applicant information). Under the Biometrics section, it says fingerprints not received.
