Idk if my BG check has started or not..we have representative ..NDVO asked fir additional document last week..just hoping they touch my file before the deadline they mentioned in the email which is far away
just wishing for a miracle to happen before this year ends.

So this means
Atleast they are checking our eligibilities cus if additional docs are requested, that means eligibilty is being looked into nd the piles are in working hands now.

Btw can u share what additional doc did they ask? Any relationshp proofs or u missed out sumthn.

Yea..they asked for original PCC for my new passport..I got my surname changed on the passport in July. And yeah its a long distance relationship marriage.

I did an MP inquiry and received an email which has one statement saying "The medical examination results have not yet been received".

Did anyone else has the same experience .

Yea..they asked for original PCC for my new passport..I got my surname changed on the passport in July. And yeah its a long distance relationship marriage.

How's that possible? Didn't your doctor upload the medical results on embassy's website? Just cross check with the doctor and do not send anything now on your own until the Canadian High Commission asks for it.

Yeah they won't ask for it if you applied with new passport and PCC for that passport. I had provided an original PCC for my old passport when I applied for my PR. Later, I got my surname changed and my husband's name added on my passport, for which they asked got original PCC.

Seems little confusing....We applied with passport and pcc while she was having maiden name than later she changed passport under married name and we updated to cic and ndvo about the change ....do you think they will ask ?

Yeah they won't ask for it if you applied with new passport and PCC for that passport. I had provided an original PCC for my old passport when I applied for my PR. Later, I got my surname changed and my husband's name added on my passport, for which they asked got original PCC.
