Dear All,

My wife became a PR holder in July 2015. We want to apply for spouse sponsorship for me. It's only been 5 months since she is working. The checklist asks for an Option C printout which I believe is received only after filing of returns. My questions are below:

1) it's the first time she will be filing her returns. How much time will it take to obtain her Option C form considering taxes has not been filed yet. Suggest a fastest route to obtain option C

2) if we decide not to provide option c printout, can we put an explanation sheet for not providing an option c?
What is an acceptable reason for not providing her Option C? It's been only 7 months she has been in Canada and working for 6 months. Is that an acceptable reason?

Just got up to get ready for the office. Checked mails and what a pleasant surprise. My wife too has received her PPR. It states clearly to submit PP within 30 days through VFS or Ottawa option.

Only a person living in canada can apply for notes .i.e. a pr or citizen. If u r the applicant in india then ur spouse can apply on ur behalf. Consent form needs to be signed by you, allowing ur spouse to apply on ur behalf. U can click on the link in my signature for more details. Dont panic stay strong

Wife's PR Applied on Oct 2014 : - My wife is on close work permit and is in Canada for 4 years. She applied for PR in the month of August 2014 and she got the file number on Oct 22nd, 2014 and medicals were submitted in the month of May 2015 and she was waiting for her PR

We got married in September 2015 and her status got changed from single to married in her file and we applied for addition of spouse on Oct 16th Oct 2015 in the same file and waiting for medicals for me ( Husband who is in India ) where we have given the fees of $550 in Oct 2015 only ( 1st Phase fees )

Need to know few things :-

1. When can be medical expected
2. What is the duration they take
3. Applied visitor visa twice and rejected with a foolish reason ( travel history,family ties etc )

Can anyone guide ?

those notes are a month old, a lot can happen in a month. dont worry stay positive.
your details are not in the spreadsheet can u please share them here.......
