Please advice on how to send the passport across. VFS or by courier?

N for photograph specifications it needs a stamp of photographer on one of the pics. Will the local Studio photographer do?

I am a july 2014 applicant.My ecas status still shows "We received your file on july 22,2104" with no signs of "in-process".
I have applied fot GCMS notes many times at it says the same thing every time
like with satisfactory evidence on file relation appears to be genuine,PA and sponser are compatible in all aspects,interview waiver recommended,file sent to officer for file review.
This is the update on my file since 27 april 2015.I guess they havnt touched my file since then.So my question is should I go for "MP inquiry" now or is it too early for that.If yes what is the procedure to do that as I have only heard about this term with absolutely no idea about what it means an how the process goesCould someone also shed some light on what a case specific inquiry is?

We are almost same date...My file was also touched on 27th April.....and after that its a wait...
Same status for another friend of 24July.
I guess our particular lot went to a real lazy bum dumb ass VO....
He / She must be nearing retirement.

hopefully, it should happen for our lot any day now....

Also, dont worry much about IP.....
Previously, they used to do IP when the file was nearing DM.
Nowadays, its just a clerical status change which they do, and dey are doing it just to justify they have been working on the files for long....

NO file will get DM before 12 months (Best case scenario) and 14 months, and if ur unlucky, interview even more longer. Rest , of course there are exceptions...

Some people have got interview calls even after IP, so relax, only PPR is the finality ;D

U can try MP enquiry, but it just helps u get info, it doesnt help u move it fast, and with elections next month, MPs are crazy busy...

My timeline application received 28 May 2014. Med done in February 2014 .... Says med received and processing started since 12 August 2014 file transferred to Delhi 12 August 2014 . Plz advice me how can I contact them to inquire about my file status. Thanks in advance , any input positive or negative is well appreciated as I spoke to my consultant and he advice me to wait as he told me cic may not respond to the email and I can try calling the 1800 helpline number

Hi All.. Like all of you guys even i'm waiting for some updates or miracle to happen :-[

Here is my timeline:

Applied on: 21st Oct 2014
Medicals on: 22nd Sep 2014 (exactly an year before) so it's getting expired by today..
In Progress: 20th Aug 2015 and asked for additional docs on proof of relationship in which they have told the last date for submission is on 3rd October 2015.
Docs Sent on: 27th August 2015

I guess this means the files which turned IP on 20th aug 2015, NVDO will again look at them only after 3rd Oct 2015..??
Each day my hope is going down and the wait is killing each second.. :-[ :'(

Calnia had not done medicals upfront. Was asked to do a complete medical on 27th Aug 2015. This is from his/her earlier post. It is also there in the spreadsheet.

It can take 2-3 weeks. Also check junk folder in your email.

Can vary frm a week to 15 days to month

I guess its taking 12 months if you are superlucky and 14 mnths if you are lucky and may be more time if you have an interview and if you still dn hear anything than pause your expectations.. Hey pardon me if m wrong its just my observation .. From past updates
Fingers crossed .. They are still dealing with oct-dec ip no dm for these mnths .. :'(
