Hi, my mother-in-law got her visitor visa and wants to visit us in Regina, SK. My concern is she does not speak english at all and has never travelled in a plane before.

Is anyone coming to Canada from Mumbai, India soon this month?

options i am looking for:

mumbai to regina
mumbai to calgary

if not mumbai then any other city?

So far no updates... still AR/MR status. I've been in touch with the MP office in my area and I am to hear something come this Tuesday, hopefully they have some good news. I also requested notes and they should be here in a couple of weeks, let's see what the notes say. I'm also waiting on our daughters birth certificate to come in so I can update NDVO with the birth of our child. Fingers crossed we hear something this month, good luck!

I am thinking of applying notes next month, hope by then I can see some progress on my file. Are you in Toronto? My husband is yet to be touch with the MP office in his area. Do you think he should contact them soon? Coz I fear they may just give him the cliched answer, " To wait for 16 months to get over. "

How lucky are you that you file got transferred to NDVO in December itself. Ours took so long (God knows why) and finally it was transferred in February. Well, my medicals are on the verge of expiring Did you go for re-medicals or are you waiting for a request from the VO?
