Please guide for me the further steps i can follow
1. Requesting embassy again, as they should consider the fact that i am pregnant and on bed rest. Already I have 2 miscarriages. So travelling will put my baby at risk.
2. Travel to Canada risking my pregnancy, Apply for PR card, came back within a week and will further go again if they ask to collect it in person. Or it will be difficult for me to enter next time without Pr card?
3. Can embassy extend my visa?WHy they mentioned like "re-open" your file,instead of saying that you have to start from scratch??

You can writer a mail attaching the letter from the doctor about your health issue and you can not travel during time requesting them to extend the visa. This is the only option you have as you can not rist your pregancy. Keep in mind that if they extend your visa, you need to inform about your new born baby and add the baby to your application which will furhter delay your landing by about min 6 months

Hi Pari,
sorry to hear about yr situation, these are my suggestions
1) ask the q in the Foreign skilled worker forum , there may be people there who have experienced somewhat similar situations
2) If you can afford it , consult a lawyer since this is now complicated
3) Email CIC as a case specific inquiry re: what they mean that they would have to reopen your file. and if the visa they gave u is still valid. The last thing u want is that u travel to Canada , in your condition with the pregnancy being so risky and even though u have the visa , the cic has cancelled it and you are not allowed in through the CBSA
4) dont risk your pregnancy ( this advice is also coming from another pregnant woman -me), worst case scenario enjoy the pregnancy with yr family there and yr husband, take care of your self and once you can and the baby is born , then reapply for the FSW class pr visa. In the long run the one-two year wait may seem minuscule but at least u would have not endangered yr pregnancy and future baby.

I would say ask or take professional help like a lawyer if you can

On my notes, there is no reference of MP inquiry. Seems like they never contacted anyone to get an update on file. The response was just a standard response.

This wait is killing me now. Don't know how long can I hold on. 1.5 years of my married life has been screwed by NDVO........GOOD JOB NDVO

Fiza my dear....I am sorry that you havent heard yet from them re: yr interview. my advice...where you live in canada try to find another MP - of the conservative party though and go through them and see if u get a different response. I did try that but there were no other conservative ones here ,rest were liberal and they cant find out since immigration is a federal thing and not provincial.

One advice: and frankly this is the only thing helping me right now ( god knows what i am going to do all alone here with my delivery coming up soon ) just Pray....dont know if you are the religious type...i am not that much but praying has helped me cope ..nothing else.

For us its been almost 2 years...cant believe it ...what a waste of precious time that i could have instead spent with my loving husband..

So true ..all of us have life on hold ...due red flags ..or whatever by ndvo..is it fair no..can we do anything about it no...we are helpless..

Please help – When is the right time to inform CIC regarding the new born?

Current Status:
I have applied for PR in Oct 2014 and my husband is the sponsor. Present status on CAS is “Application received on Oct 21, 2014” and AOR2 date is Jan 10, 2015 (received the UCI and File # from Delhi Immigration).
I’m pregnant and due date is end of this month June 30, 2015 (planning to deliver the baby in India). I was not aware that I was pregnant when I applied for PR. Based on the current situation, I have couple of questions and looking forward for the response from this forum so that I can make the right decision

1. When is the ideal time to inform CIC regarding the new born? Now or after I deliver so that my current PR process is not put on-hold?
2. Process to inform CIC regarding new born –
a. Do I need to mail CIC New Delhi office address or use case specific enquiry (ECAS) to update regarding new arrival?
b. Within how many days after baby’s birth, should I inform CIC?
c. Is there any letter format?
3. Will the below documents suffice to apply for baby’s passport in India since baby’s father cannot travel to India?
a. Child’s birth certificate
b. Mother’s original passport
c. Father to get the sworn affidavit from India embassy, Canada approving to apply for baby’s passport in India (Is there any letter format for this??).
4. My husband stays in Edmonton, AB, so wanted to know the closest Indian Embassy in Alberta province to get the sworn affidavit?
5. What are the documents required to get the sworn affidavit from India embassy?

My date of application is 28 July, 2014. I received an email from the Delhi immigration office asking for photographs of my engagement and the wedding rituals and the reception. I had the same posted in two days from the date of the email, which was sent on 1st May 2015. There has been no status update on the website and I have absolutely no idea of who I should be contacting to help me out. I'm so stressed. Will I have to get a medical examination again, as mine expires by the end of June, 2015. Anybody with the slightest information on this, please get back to me. Thank you.

I applied for my husband in December 2014, we got AOR1 in march , and AOR2 in April.
since it is a long process, we were thinking to apply for visitor visa .
would anyone be able to suggest that we should go for it ?
what are the pros and cons of this application, if it is denied ? would it affect the PR application as well ?
what are the chances of getting accepted and rejected ?

Hi all so the MP office got a reply back n this is wut they said File was reviewed last week, to proceed with the security checks, they require foreign travel history and copies of Passport pages. Does anyone have an idea how long the security checks take?

Hello - I am thinking of applying for visitor's visa for my wife. My question is...would they ask for her passport regardless of the decision of accept/reject or just ask for passport if they decide to grant visa?

Yes, they will and your wife will have to submit her pp when she submits her application for TRV at VFS. Please refer to CIC's TRV website for more information.
