If you are working , then its easy to obtain as you can show that you will return at the end of your leave.

You should hear something in 2 days. They usually say 4 weeks but get reply pretty quick. Good Luck!

That's what the MP's assistant said too " there is a backlog at my end but will try and get this processed as soon as I can and will call you once I have some details". Will update the forum once I have some details.

lol even Kumbhakarna would not be sleeping so long... c'mon NDVO visa officer wake up now. It's spring and love is in the air; we need to be with our spouses soon. Days are longer and brighter; don't impede our bright future NDVO officer.

You can apply for a vistor's visa while the application is under process under spousal category. However when to apply for this depends on your time line i.e. when did you apply for your wife's permanent resident visa under spousal category etc., So if you can share your timeline then one of us can give a suggestion. However the final decision is yours.

Hi guys.... i m new here...m glad to see a grp of ppl who r in the same state as i am....its so annoying at times...like wats goin on...like y do we have to wait until they find out the relation is genuine...
anyways...i just wanted to ask if i can apply for the visitors visa when i have already applied for pr....application received on july 25th 2014,meds done may 30 2014,file transfer 25th sept 2014....n the status is still not 'in process' .....the problem is i have to appear for the exam in august....and the last date for exam application is may 27th...grr...i have no idea wat to do!!! Is thr anyone who could help me out...thnx a lot!!
