Slight correction, I received this email 14th of March 2015, not February.

Hi Aashima, I informed them via the contact facility on the immigration site (CAS)- the one that they ask you to send them information on for any changes like address. Also send a scan of the new passport to NVDOs address.

I need one advice.
I have received visa till date 26th june.
Currently I am serving notice period of 3 month in my company in india and i will free from duties in this company on 25 july.
I am flying to Toronto on 28th may to complete the PR process.
I will go there & apply for PR card, health card & SIN and will be returning back to india on 10 june to serve the remaining period in my company.
Will be any problem if I return to india for 1 & 1/2 month after applying my PR card?

My current plan is wife will receive the card on the address in canada & she will send to via courier or she will personally travel to india with my card and we will go back together.
Will this work? any other suggestions?

Nope....haven't done since they did not ask for it....my lawyer is planning to send an enquiry next week.Lets see if they respond although I doubt they will.

I think we are in a same situation. Ours have in process since dec too, and our medical just expired last month. My agent doesn't want to do any inquiry, because he thinks it will make our case weak. We don't know what to do next month it's going to be a year. Usually everyone are getting their visa's within a year but on ours it's stressing us.

hi ... i have a question friends need your suggestion about a few things..
* since the entire process is taking a looong time, my husband is planning to take a transfer to US for a year.. i want to know b4 going ahead, what happens to the PR application.. we certainly have to inform them about it.. bt will it delay the process even more?

* since my husband is a canadian citizen, our baby gets citizenship by default... v have applied for the certificate..bt i heard it takes 12 months.. so can v apply for indian passport n travel .. will she get a visitor visa...(in case my PR arrives and we have to go to canada)
