New Delhi - 2012 applicants

guys we have been in process since 4 feb... no update what so ever.. its so depressing.. i have been apart from my wife since last 16 months and its getting on my nerves..i cant go to india anytime soon and its frustrating...

Well for me I know for a fact that I have no hope until mid-late June.. So I'm no longer waking up every morning praying to see a DM or having my heart skip a beat every time the door bell rings... It's bloody hard to KNOW that I wont be seeing my husband for stleast 2.5 months but atleast I KNOW! & so I'm looking for ways to keep my mind occupied...

& I think that's what we all need to do... Keep our minds occupied and try and be in a happy place for as much of the day as possible....

On a realistic note, how long should you wait before you apply for GCMS Notes?

Hey I would suggest you wait until early June at the very least... It's wayyyy to early.. Atleast give NDVO some time...
That way when you do apply you can atleast hope to see some substantial progress...

Medical Done Sept 2012
Application Sent to CIC Sept 2012
Application Received at CIC sept 2012
Date of AOR Received 25th nov 2012
Date of Sponsorship Approved 25th nov 2012
Date of File Transferred to New Delhi ? 25th nov 2012
Passport requested- 1st dec 2012
passport submitted- 5th dec 2012

After that we have not heard anything. I did contacted my MP and new delhi embassy replied that she will be called for interview but they don't know when as processing time has not yet completed.I am still waiting for her interview call from new delhi visa office.

I tried calling the CIC call center at Mississauga. I was told that I can't get any update from them as the file got transferred to Delhi last month.
My wife tried calling Delhi number, and was told that she cannot get case specific enquiry over the phone.
I was planning to send an email asking if they have received my wife's medicals.
Should I be concerned? Thanks for any thoughts!

So I have not been on for a while. Congrats to all who got their DMs/visas!
Just wanted to update you all....... my husband got a PPR on March 22nd directly via phone from NDVO----even though we applied through a consultant.

Now waiting for the final step.. but no news yet! - my hope was mid april ! lets c !
I hope 2012 files get cleared soon!

You can send a case specific enquiry to New Delhi. Hopefully they will answer.

Hi Friends,

I have a question.. We had the Canadian UCI# and now it shows (Decision Made). But, recently NDVO created another UCI# for about 1/2 months ago and new generated UCI# shows (In Process) and asked to submit my wife passport which we have already submitted and it has been about 20 days or more.

Does, anyone know how long does it take to get the Visa on the passport and when we can expect for passport to be shipped back.

There are many members waiting after in Process. Please refer to the spreadsheet, you will get an idea. Please let me know your timeline so that i can add you to spreadsheet.
