Thank u Sumit but i dont know what MP and NDVO means!! If I find out, I will contact them for sure bcz i can't wait any longer for the decision to b made. we have no updates such as email or an E-status.

MP stand for Memeber of parliament and NDVO stands for NEW DELHI VISA OFFICE.

google your local mp and then it will ask you to enter your postal code and will bring up your MP for that area.

MP usually get back to you with some info in about week time.

DECISION MADE !!!!! Yay yay 8)

But i still have some concerns....

When i log in on ecas using file number ...it shows 2 addresses...
1- Your current home address ( it just says "Toronto, Ontario, Canada").... Shouldn't this have my FULL canadian address ?
2- Your current mailing address ( it has my wife's india mailing address)...its missing house number and state name....i wonder how the heck is the passport gonna reach my house.....?


When i click on "Decision Made" link...i get the following.....

We received your application for permanent residence on March 2, 2012.

We started processing your application on August 16, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.


Any thoughts guys ? ;D :-[

as long as you know that you gave the right info and address on the forms the passport will come to the right address within 5 business days...

Dnt wrry about ECAS man, you know how it is from day 1, everyone has been complaining about it...

Hey guyz...iim so sorri to bother all u wid a same question? hmmm Ecas sais they received my file on march 28. and wife got PPR on july 17. since now i didnt get no single email or mail for me to confirm in canada? does this sound proper to you guys? Or do you guys think i should call cic and find out how come i didnt receive no ltter sayen if everything ok. Does anyone have experience with same as my situation? LIL SCARED...thanks guys...u guys r BEST.

wow zearos big big congrats. Its party time. You will receive PP in a week. And dont worry about address in e-cas as it appear from many cases that they do not update full address on e-cas. If you want to check about your address then you can see AOR and PPR. If these two docs have proper address on it then you dont have to worry about it. Can you please tell at what indian time they might have updated your e-cas?

Don't worry u should get back your passport to the right address....... I am sure you had the right address on your passport request letter...

Dnt wrry buddy, you are all good...to get the best idea you can view the spreadsheet.

if your case is strait forward you should hear something from New delhi Visa office before the end of september.

To be honest....i dont know.....i usually check ecas once or twice a week....last time i checked was on weekend ...sunday..but there was no update then.....
