New Delhi - 2012 applicants

It seems like cic-nd is finalizing cases for people who sent their passport mid or end of june.....my understanding is that they finalize ur case within 2 months after file is transfere to new delhi.....does not really matter when ppr is requested....so manorite...u shoulnt be worried atleast till mid or end of august....i am sure in ur case, u will get ppr and in about a week, they will issue visa....

Someone said they sent an email to new delhi to correct their address....but havnt received any reply back from new delhi.....i am in same boat as u.....i also sent email to them on 16 th july and till date i havnt received any reply nor is the ecas address updated.....but as far as i know they will not send any confirmation ..but they will update it when they make major status update on my case i.e "DM"....

Lalata, in ur case i think its just a shipping error/issue....i dont think ur case was rejected...they usually call for interview....check with ur local postal office......give them like 500 rupees and ask them to hold the passport and u can go pick it up from the post office......



Anyone know what happens if the passport gets sent back to cic-nd if its not delivered due to any reason like wrong address or no one home ....does cic- nd contact the applicant for right address or can the passport be picked up in person from new delhi office ?

but i still have my Indian mailing address on the ECAS, is it unusual to have indian address instead of Canadian address even after DM
is there anyone else, who has faced same problems. ??? ??? i got "in process" on saturday and it took only one day from "in process" to DM
