cud u help me out plzz.....
i got a call from ND VO for PPR very late, after three months since my file transferred to ND ...............i didn't hear from anyone thay ask for PPR through call.........moreover, they ask for my PPR very late, noone got such a late PPR............but one thing which makes me relaxed that in my ECAS, my status went to "in process" even before PPR......wat does it indicate??? is it a gud indication???

Congratulations for the PPR
I guess this is a good indication that the status changed to :in process". Ya, most the people get PPR via email or mail. We got request via email. We have sent my husband's passport and they have been received and moreover he received a call too; but the status is still " Application Received". We have no idea about what is going on with our file!! but it is confusing that they updated ur status to "in process" bfr receiving passport!! I must tell u that if ur application is strait forward, u will receive ur passport with a visa stamp on it very very soon. coz my husband's PP was received on August 9th and we received a call on Aug 20. so the process is very fast unless u mess up with somwthing.

I think what he meant to say is this...we receive two UCI numbers.

One of sponsor
One of who is sponsored.

When we search with sponsir's UCI we get information as DM-App received, however when we enter information with sponsored(person who is being sponsored) information,..it shows nothing.

well, this is my question also...

yes i got it, it happens with everyone but only for first few days after getting sponsorship approval.
there is one more thing left to try.
if you dont have surname, put your full name as surname on the ECAS. i mean to say, if your name is "rahul kumar", enter "rahul kumar" as your surname.
if its still not working, it means they didnt update yet

ohh really ;D thats great. surname is a common issue with indian applicants and when you move to Canada they will give you a big surname ;D ;D they will put your full name as surname on all docs and no NAME

Well Tash, it could be a small thing that he wanted to find out from your husband.

VO cannot make his/her deceision based on a phone call, worst case scenario they will call your husband in for a face to face interview..

Why dont you book an appointment with your local MP here in canada and ask him/her to get updates for you from NDVO rather then waiting for the VO to get back to you.

is there are two file numbers? or jus one? im sponsoring my wife from india? and i only have one file number that on PPR form? thats the only one or is there any number for my self as well.

i tried to call cic today? i couldnt reach them. its sais busy. i got the number off from cic? does anyone know the best way to contact to them?

your case is very similar to mine............my wife is in canada, nd m waiting in india jus like your husband........my case also filed on feb 16............i also expect a interview from cic...........they ask me for ppr very late on 13 aug. nd i submitted 17 aug. ..........but my application was delivered to ND vo 9th may.............went to "in process" from "received application" in ECAS on 2 aug......wat i expeect from cic.? can u help me out.......?

first of all, you dont need to feel sorry for anything, this forum is only to ask weird questions when i registered on this forum, it took me few days even to figure out "how to post here" ;D ;D and now, i dont use facebook or google+ but stay here on the forum for all the time.

there are two UCI's and one file number.(in case, you dont provide medical results or landing fees with application, they can give you temporary file number in Mississauga and permanent in ND after file transfer)
UCI number provided with sponsorship approval is sponsor's UCI and must be used with sponsor's details only and UCI and file number received with PPR are for applicant and must be used with applicant's details.
best and only way to contact CIC is CALLING them and calling CIC after getting sponsorship approval is worthless they will not give you any info about your application after file transfer to ND VO.

me too but there is a big difference between job interviews and immigration interview best thing about visa interview is, they dont ask about engineering stuff ;D ;D in job interview, they can ask questions from all around the world maybe outside the world ??? but here syllabus is limited, VO will not ask anything outside of your personal life and family, thats why i was confident in my interview because i had a great feeling that i know everything and i got approved
