New CEC - Jan 2013 Applications

First, this forum is a great idea and execution.
I am a newbie to PR forms and desperately looking for your guidance. Please help!

Current Status in Canada: Employed on Closed WP (valid till Sept 2014)
PR Application Type: CEC (filed by my company lawyer from within Ontario)
Filing Date: 7th Jan 2013
AOR Date: 8th March 2013
NOC Code: 0213
Application was initially submitted to Sydney, but I heard later that all applications have been moved to Ottawa office.

I have not heard anything yet on medical or otherwise. Online status on the CIC website still showing the status as "Application Received". Can you please suggest what should I be doing next? Any other information that could help me?

I just paid rprf. Only got automated reply so far.

Are you done with medical ? Please suggest a doctor if you are in toronto.

Congrats Eds, happy for you. we have the same visa officer. did you receive any confirmation when you pay the RPRF and Biodata? aside from the auto message that said "do not reply"? i haven't received any confirmation after i email the receipt and biodata to cic and cost recovery.

There are a lot of people from jam and even dec2012 witting for their medical requests. You just need to wait it out I'm afraid.
You could request your case file notes (gcms) which may show you where your application is but they take 30 days to arrive and you may get your medical request in that time

Congratulations! May I know, what has been mentioned, as within how many days you have to send the PPR.
I just wanted to estimate some time, as I am planning to travel next month for 5 weeks.

MR on 10th, did on 11th, submitted on 22nd, received on 26th. Nothing since then. You? What does your ecas show?

I had submitted updated reference letter with roles and responsibilities. They seem to have considered that.
So, if your original reference letter didn't have duties and you're still waiting for MR, I suggest you can submit an updated one ASAP.

Q reg medical-
I had called cic few weeks back whether my spouses medical exam results from canada trv can be used for pr as well. Call centre said yes. I've just sent that medical test report to Ottawa. However, I've read mixed reviews about this in the forum.

Has anybody had any experience with reusing medical results? I'm planing to do medical sometime next week. I hope by this weekend, cic will confirm whether a new medical exam is necessary for my wife.

My ecas shows In process.

My earlier question was "How many days does CIC gives to send the passport?" do you have any idea. or can someone who received the PPR recently, please check the mail and confirm. -"within how many days from the time we receive PPR, we have to send the passport"
