Hi All ,
I had received AOR on Jan 21 st 2013, and also i do see status showing "Application received" and i had also sent RCMP letter on Sept 1st ,still i dont see any progress or any update on eCAS status , could any one please share your expeirences , thanks .......

Hi,

I have received response to my GCMS request ::
App Status - Open
Reason - In Progress
Cost Recovery - Complete
RPRF - Outstanding
Eligibility - Not Started
Security - Not Started
Criminality - In Progress
Medical - Not Started
Most of the updates are in Feb 20. When my AOR was issued.
Except one (Paper File Transferred) on April/24/2013

I applied in Jan 2nd week. I am not sure if somebody else receive same kind of status or it's only my file which is not being worked upon.

Also on the Police clearance report, I called CEC couple of time to verify the response one of the agent mentioned that I need to send the Police Clearance Record within 3 months of issuance. Couple other agents told wait for the request.

I also read somewhere that If we send the Police record by our selves, it takes 2-3 months to get updated in the file.

Has anyone sent the police clearance report later?
How long it took to get that acknowledged by CIC and updated in the file?

I am getting more confused and nervous now

Please advise!

Read the threads guys and look at the spreadsheets.

People from Sep 2012 are still waiting on MR so you guys are fine.

I'm going ahead with upfront medical. My spouse already has medical from trv. Regardless of outcome, I hope my application will be finalized within next 1 year.

I'm not getting any response from Ottawa for my queries. I don't know what's happening.

It's a different medical. Your spouse will be required to do a new medical for PR.

You really just need to hold in there and remember Sep 2012 apps + are still waiting for MR's. While some 2013 apps have received MR's, the bulk have not.

I agree with you regarding sept 2012.

But reg spouse medical test, I disagree. Medical test done for any type of Canada visa can be reused. Many members of this forum have confirmed this.

So it seems that everything moves just on One day of the week, wednesday and then nothin' happens for the rest of the week..continuing with this we should expect more MR's on the next Tuesday and Wednesday.... just my thoughts.

The one i got few days back only has criminality in progress. I applied for a new one last week - will share updates after I get it.

I see major updates twice a week (weekday and one weekend day). Still there are some ad hoc MRs everyday.
