Guys,
My CAQ is valid for May session ,but due to medicals I missed May session now planning for September....
Now my question is do I need a new CAQ ....
..CHC Islamad did not answered my query, I mailed them 40 days ago ...nor they required a new one...
..University says you don't need...
..Quebec officer say you will need one ...
..Some one on this forum said you don't need one ...
What do u say can I get new one after the approval of visa....
If someone faced similar situation please share...

As far as i remember, i have been recently granted CAQ for 2 years and the letter clearly states that;
1- you don't need a new CAQ if you delay ur arrival time during the validity period (like delaying to next year)
2- you don't need a new CAQ if you change your institute of study during the validity period

So if you have delayed your arrival from may to september, you dont need a new CAQ, but if ur CAQ has expired, you will have to re-apply the same way as before....

On my CAQ it is written

Please note that you will not need a new CAQ for your studies if you postpone your registration from fall term to the following winter term or if you change your study program or educational establishment, providing the new program is for the same level of study.In any other case you will have to submit a new Application for a CAQ for studies ..........

I think i have to submit a new application............but CHC should answer something.......

It is better to email the Quebec immigration division rather than chc.....chc is very inefficient.....they have not yet replied a single email i have sent them

i know of a person who worked in the verification section in the chc.....he says that canadians are very "sust" amongst all the goras!

It means this is for reference and if i defer to subsequent session i will not require new CAQ......

From Concordia Student Information Booklet i found this ............

DEFERRAL OF ADMISSION: If you are unable to start your studies for the term stated on your admission letter, you will have to defer your admission and request, in writing, a new letter of admission from Concordia University (unless your letter of admission specifies that your admission is valid for a subsequent term). If your CAQ has already been authorized by Immigration Quebec, note that you will not have to reapply for it.
