Hello all...following my case.

NOV 2011 to SEPT 2012 worked as sandwich artist at subway(part time bcoz of study, full time in vacation during study too)

Study finished.

OCT 2012 TO JAN 2013. was supervisor full time at same store (subway)

Went back home for 21 days(submited emp letter while applying for 3 year visa, stating that "this person working full time at $13")

FEB 2013 TO PRESENT DATE. Working as assistant manager.

Ok so its march. And I am going to apply under CEC, NEXT WEEK. AS an assistant manager and with SAME PAY $13.

Can anybody tell me do I need to worried?
I mean do I have enough prior exprience to apply with this post?

Secondly how about I got promoted, but my pay rate is same as it is.

I believe your NOC is no longer eligible for Canadian experience class consideration. But you should wait for senior members to respond before making a decision

Food Service Supervisor is no longer eligible for CEC. Assistant Manager is eligible, and you need 12 months of full-time experience is that role before you apply, which you have. Your hourly rate is in range according to average pay for your role. So you should be fine when you apply.

As long as your work permit says that you are asst manager from feb 2013 up to present. (Min. 12 months experience required) You're under 0631, and with work duties and responsibilities on the said job. But with your salary of 13.00/hour, i am not sure if they have a certain min. Salary required under that Noc.

You shouldn't have any problem with that.

This probably will be an issue. VO might think that just because Food supervisor NOC is closed, you are applying as assistant manager. Its just like you got promoted but no salary increment. I mean its kinda hard to understand. I am just telling you possibilities

Go through this link:
Its Similar case as yours. He got rejected. I don't mean to scare you its for your own reference.

I better you say that you started as Sandwich artist and when you got salary increment you also got promoted to assistant manager.

This was the first case I saw in which he got rejected. There are many including my friends who are going to apply under NOC 0631 as Assistant manger in Subway. They directly got promoted to Assistant manager from Sandwich artist after working like an year or so

So youre a supervisor? I thought you were a an assistant manager. I have never seen a promotion without a salary increase (flag one) and I have never seen assistant managers make $13 a hour (flag 2). But I think if thats you're only option you should go ahead and apply. Just try and prove you're case beyond reasonable doubt keeping those two things in mind.

As long as you can provide employment certificate as asst manager provided by Subway and the duties and responsibilities. But as for your salary again that is questionable as you have the same rate as when you were a supervisor. I know a colleague who was rejected for that reason.

I agree that there is no promotion without salary increment. But about wages you are wrong. If you haven't seen doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Look at the statistics for wage of Assistant manager:

http://www.workingincanada.gc.ca/LMI_report_bynoc.do?&noc=0631&reportOption=wage

I would say you pay scale wont be a problem.
