Your study permit will only be issued for 3 years, that is to your passport expiry date. You would need to follow the instructions on the CIC site close to the time your passport expires to extend your study permit.
Of course the recommendation would be to renew your passport now before you start out but many countries are not keen of course to renew so far out but will avoid any problems renewing whilst outside of your home country.
