Look through local craigslist posts for renting might be more helpful than asking people here - just google for "craigslist" ads near where you want to stayayaz123 said:

You can get accommodation for weekly stay,which can further be extended until you find a new house in Toronto.
Call the number directly mentioned on the ad.,ISD calls are very cheaper these days.
But get your accommodation confirmed before coming to Canada.
