I got SINP in Jan 2017 (paper based). Status on website says
I have few questions:
a. Receiving an AOR from CIC means that file has been transferred to NDVO ? The AOR I received has NDVO address in signature
b. Will I receive another AOR through which I can link the application to my CIC account?
c. How long before I have to wait for my MR ?

- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 13, 2017.
- We started processing your application on April 13, 2017.
I have few questions:

Your AOR date is 13 April. You are talking about May 2017 AOR, which is 2nd AOR or FT, most probably.
I have received only one letter from CIC providing me application number. However when I check the status online it says that we have started processing your application in April. I have not received any mail or email from CIC between April and May.
They transferred it without informing you, most probably. Ask them through CSE.
On behalf of my friend, AOR received 12th Aug. Successfully linked the application to GCKey account.
After linking do we need to do anything?
They have paid the RPRF fee upfront only. Do they need to upload receipt any where online?
What status change would be done on File transfer to local Visa office?

Thanks. I am not able to link the application number to my GCKey account. I have raised issue with them. However, do you know if there is any time frame after which we can link the account?
Anyone March or april applicant whose background check status in process from not applicable changed.
You did not try in the way. You have Application Number and UCI now. So it is very easy. People even link without these things as well, like me.

Choose "continue to GC key" in this link.
Choose "Sigh Up"
Choose "Accept"
Create your username (Ex. rohanindian, or......) then press Continue
Create Password (Ex. Suresh3384, etc.) then press Continue
Create your Recovery questions
If you go ahead 2-3 steps like this then work will be done.

I have not received UCI along with my application number.
I have a GCKey account. I tried linking the application using the option of application number and client name and the system returned the message that no application was found using these details. I also tried linking using client details only and still no luck.
May be I will received some another AOR as well from CIC as lot of people in this forum has mentioned that they received AOR2 after few weeks/months.
Not sure what is the case with my application though.
Write them to CSE (IRCC Webform ) and ask about your UCI number, and file status. Send repeatedly,Thanks for the detailed reply.

Ask you queried here.
Fill out the information related to the boxes. Write Application Number. Tick the box, I agree, at the bottom left. Then press "Next" button.
The second page will open. If have to send some papers then you can upload here.
Press YES or NO. As per circumstances.
Third page will open. Click next.
Enough.
