Two of our group friend got news that their Passports are in transit!!!!!!!

not sure yet what is in there. Rjection or Visa?

Good news Guys.

Myself and my wife got a letter from CIC stating our work permit is approved.
Surprisingly there was no medicals requested for me this time.

The VFS status still states 'it is under process', hope to see it change by today.

Do they always communicate via emails?

I havent recieved an email about UIC or receipt of application so far. Is this normal or do i have to worry about this?

@sapna exactly same state as u r. Applied next day dont wry u might get visa directly as few ppl here got that way i'v done my medicals still waiting for visa ???

@shyamala lokesh... i did my medicals on 29th Jan and you did yours 2 days after me (01/02/13, right?).... there is also Garrycole and Gautam387 who've done their medicals in the first week of Feb... i haven't heard anything yet... keeping my hopes high for the next week... please keep me posted if you hear anything...

Want to confirm whether we have to wait for the passport or he should go for the medicals directly?

Congrats for getting MR. I also got MR in 1st week of Feb and went for medicals last week. But as I applied online so I got it through MyCIC tool.

Just a query : Did that e-mail asked you to get the Medical done and Reply Back with Medical Payment Reciept or something to Acknowledge that you have undergone Medical at a particular date ?

I was wondering if CIC will check their Central System for medical results or we need to inform them that we have undergone medical at a particular date so that they can go ahead and check it .

Any other friend who has undergone medical and he/she can resolve my above query can share his/her exp. Thanks

In the attachment they have just provided us with medical examination instructions and also a medical report form is attached which my husband has to take to the medical institution.
I think now medical report is also being send to High commission through online.
