ND Work Permit Processing Time since February 2012?

Hi Guys,

Me and my spouse applied for open work permit on 24th Dec, 2012 and idea how much time will it take for Medical?

i am still waiting after medicals sent them mail as well as fax also but they replied saying

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

Your e-mail has been forwarded to the appropriate section for any necessary action. If anything further is required at this time, the section will contact the applicant or authorized representative.

Till now there is no response from them even i sent reminder mail as well .

I am too much frustrated now . stopped even checking the status in VFS

hi neetu same kind of mail i got from visa office on 11 december but still no good news even i did not get medicals request its like unbelievable

well i applied for student visa and my wife applied for her owp on 15th Nov..
she got a mail similar to some guys in the forum but no attachment in the mail..
till now we have made case specific inquiry, sent mails, called embassy , called VFS...but no one seems to be responding or doesn't have proper answer..
wondering how long do we wait..

hey guys,,,,, my brothers wants to apply for my Workpermit and already have a job offer as a supervisor in a restaurant....the only problem is we do not have any property papers and live on a lease with our joint family.. he has got some insurance policies...two cars on his name...some gold evaluated certificate and 3 lkhs in the account....do u think this would be enough...
please advise its urgent

Hi.we have applied on November...we are still waiting for the results.but it is good to show your property papers as it describes your home ties..this is my suggestion..just translate the one to English and submit...Good luck

Hi , You might have to wait for a while as right now mid november applicants are awaiting medical requests

"Please note that temporary resident visa, study or work permit applicants who do not include a legible 2D barcode page as part of their application should expect a much longer processing times for more information, please see (2D barcode page)"

Canada Visa Applicants may please be informed that there is a change in the Visa application forms for applying for a Canada visa.

My visa application was received at CHC, New Delhi on Nov 27th, 2012 and the application is still under processing. Its been more than 7 weeks now. Did any November applicants receive an update from CHC?

Thanks for quick response, yes you are true i have to wait but i have to join my company in march first week any idea how much time will take for whole process.
As per CIC website, estimated time to process application is one month but as per this thread, people who applied in Nov are getting response after 2 months. i am afraid that would i be able to join my new company in mar or not
