Name on the passport

Hi,

My first name is Swathi and last name is Suresh.
But in my passport, my given name is Swathi Suresh and my surname is Suresh Babu (My father's full name).

What I would like to know is, will this be a problem if I'm going to apply for PR?

No problem. Just be sure to type your name exactly as it is in the passport.
P.S My surname field is blank in passport.

So, I can type "Swathi Suresh", right? That's how it is on all my education transcripts. There's no need to worry about this, isn't it?

No problem at all.
But if it is
Given name : XX
Surname : YY
in your passport type the same in the application form for CIC

If I do as you say, then it'll be "Swathi Suresh Suresh Babu"... isn't that wierd?
No other document has my name on it like this. it's just Swathi Suresh.

People have weirder names. Just type it as it is in the passport.

Hello Buddy,

My full name is given in "Given Name" on passport and surname is blank. What should I do in that case? All my docs are having my complete name (Like Surname and Given name). Was it a problem for you?
