Nairobi visa office applicant !

Hi Mr rana,

My file and your's turned in to IN PROCESS just on the same day. But, have faith we will move to the next step very soon. I also requsted the visa office by e-mail but i didnt get any response. What i believe is that all friends who had been in process has moved to Medical and or decision made. So, we have to believe that we get a visa eventually. Let's update each other every day.

Mine changed to DM so ill wait for the call.

when do you plan to leave? i know IOM - International Organization for Migration helps permanent residents with getting affordable airfare to the country you are leaving for.

i don't know if you got any replies but i know that each case is different and unique so just wait you will hear

from them. it does not have to follow similar routines

I did NOT get any replies from the members. My timelines are similar to yours - applied April 2012, IP for several months, got MR and did the Medicals, but they did not ask for passports. I wasn't sure where there was an omission from the letter or they had reasons not to ask for the passport.

I am amazed that you applied in 2012 and already you have MR, is supposed they are still running the background checks. Just wait it out, when you least expect, they will contact you-and i know the waiting can be hard.

Good to see that our applications turned IP same time but I've a feeling that I'd take longer as I just moved from another country to Kenya.
Considering file transfer (which I hope has been done), registration and then assigning a case officer amidst all existing cases at NVO, would have implications on my processing speed.

But then who knows....(crossed fingers)

Thanks. It was a typo error. I applied in April 2010 - not April 2012. I got first AOR from NVO in November 2010 and it turned IP in May 2012. My concern was about passport request. Thanks for your message. I guess we just have to be patient.

How long will it take to get back pasport with the maple leaf visa?

- I was wondering if in case an applicant has taken a loan e.g. from the Company or bank would have any implication on case processing?
- Does NVO asks for salary slips or any declaration/proof that the applicant is free of any debt or dues?

Hey all,

When it's your time to move to Canada, you may want to contact IOM for flight fare discounts (Thanks @ gal for the info). We got a discounted rate of $655 per person from NBI to Toronto on BA against a normal fare $1345.

in my side i was silent for while and got message only and confused . i don't know NVo Tel. # they send to me mR on may 16 but i didn't get any thing.
