first of all Congrats....

If I were you, I would never let my wife travel while she's preg, specially under your situation, airline might refuse her board the plane, its not worth taking the risk........you have all your life to visit your home town....stay back, make full use of canadian health care, which is even better than most first world countries.....

Buddy,

u have a great chace of granting the child canadian citizenship of having to born here.

just fyi -all those on WP in Canada are eligible for Canadian Health Care . go to Service Canada and apply one..

this is my opinion only - if u still decide to go to ur home country and come back ur child should be granted a tourist visa from embassy abroad

HI CIC WILL NOT LIKELY BOTHER YOU ON YOUR RETURN TO CANADA ONCE YOU HAVE A VALID WORK PERMIT. I AM SIX MONTHS PREGNANT AND A WORK PERMIT HOLDER I SEEKED ADVICE FROM MY DOCTOR PRIOR TO TRAVEL ENSURING THAT I HAD HIS APPROVAL, GET A LETTER JUST IN CASE. I NEVER HAD A ISSUE WITH THE AIRLINE NOR WITH CIC UPON MY RETURN. AS PREVIOUSLY SAID ITS BETTER FOR YOUR CHILD TO BE BORN IN CANADA TO MAXIMIZE ON THE HEALTH BENEFITS BUT THE CALL IS YOURS ALONE AS I NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM LEAVING OR RETURNING AT ALL.
