pls i discover sothing today , i hope if any one have idea about it

u are right that according to new system and fast track i got 2 points but according to old system i have to get 7 points as 5 its mean 2 points right?

and according to cic guide they mention as following /

Note: Visa officers should also assess applications and test reports which pre-date November 28, 2008,
against the above correlation table if it is to the applicants advantage, i.e., resulting in more points

and this is the website/ http://www.cic.gc.ca/EnGLIsh/resources/manuals/op/op06-eng.pdf

pls any one can guide and help me if there is something postive to my case

b.regards

I am little bit confused, can you clearly explain your case? When did you apply? what category? some other details?

The old scoring doesn't apply to you, , you applied after Nov/08.

The officers are supposed to assess scores of old applications/old IELTS against the old and new tables and pick the one that gives more points.

Somebody with a new application and new IELTS has no claim to being assessed under the old table.

Not to say that you can't give it a try and see if the IO is in a good mood but they don't have to. Better prepare again for IELTS and try one more time if you have the time. If you don't have the time and it looks like you are losing your application, write a cover letter and ask if you can be assessed by the old rules. You will probably be told no but it's worth a try.

My opininon: if you applied under new rules definitely you will be assessed under new rules ( your IELTS 2 points ). Prepare for test again. First time when I did IELTS, I had ansolutely no preparation and my score was 8 points, and with aproximately 3 weeks serious preparation my score is now 14 points.

thanks
That's right, you applied after the new rules of assessment were introduced so you do not have a claim to be assessed under the old rules. Only old applications have a claim to be assessed under the new rules if it gives them more points, not the other way around. You can still ask them to do it and hope they will do it but they don't have to. It would be better for you to take IELTS again.

you have the same thread open in multiple forums (http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/top-urgent-my-score-according-to-old-system-better-than-new-system-t31750.0.html) , I guess most of the posts lead to the same conclusion that newer rules will appy.
