I actually appreciate the OP for giving her honest truth about Canada and her people. I guess some people have it easier than others. Doesn't in anyway mean the less fortunate ones are negative or may done something wrongly.

Bottom line is to do your research and plan. There's no one-size-fits-all strategy.
