My Fathers Given Name Issue (Middle Name)

Hi,
I am applying for my parents Visitor Visa. I am from India.

My Fathers name in passport is Last Name: Arava and Given Name: Satya Chetty.

As per my Passport records my father name is Satya Arava.

Chetty is missing from my passport records. But we have a lawyer Affidavit saying both the names are same. In the Immigration document I am using Alias Given Name as Satya.

Someone please suggest how to Solve this?

Is Affidavit enough on this.

Hi Chandra,

You'll be fine.

Your dad must fill his TRV application as per the name stated in his passport..... and, not as per your passport. Hence, 'Satya' or 'Chetty' cannot be nickname(s)/alias(es), etc. The 'Given Name' will be 'Satya Chetty'.

Also, do submit a copy of the affidavit + a copy of your birth certificate (if it has your dad's middle name.... otherwise, don't worry about the birth certificate)
