Multiple Entry visa

Hey there,

I have applied for Multiple entry visa online on 23rd of November, i got reply from CIC to send my passport for stamping on very next day that is 24th November, 2014. I sent my passport to the mentioned address on 27th November through Express post (Canad Post). I track my item on Canada post site and it shows that item successfully delivered. The thing is i still didn't received any reply from CIC neither i received my passport. I already booked my ticket for India visit on 9th January 2015, I am just wondering is there any possibilities that i can receive my passport before 9th January, 2014. I am so in tension. :-[

Can anybody suggest me something on this?

The quoted processing time is 14 days plus mailing. They are working on applications received Nov 7th.

I got email from CIC yesterday (10th December, 2014) stating that my application is approved, I checked on my CIC account status of application shown as "Closed".
Now I just wondering when can i get my passport back with visa stamp?? Is anyone going through the same situation?

I sent passport to CPP - Ottawa and I am living in Ottawa as well, so as per my understanding it wont take longer to get my passport back.

Kindly help.
