MPNP Expression of Interest - Is this Express Entry????

Hello,

I saw MPNP website. It shows they will accept all applications now via Expression of Interest & there is no limit for accepting applications.

I want to clarify after giving points by MPNP based on questions they asked and will prefer who earns maximum points and advise him to apply for MPNP. If someone reach this stage, will this is an Express Entry only... If yes, would one get PR within 6 months... Is it SO or not??? Please can anybody clarify me on this.

Quoting your subject, I'll say, NO. The MPNP EOI is different from CIC's Express Entry. There are similarities though, like the Point System scheme to determine the highest pointers in the game.

Although the MPNP promised a faster processing time starting this year but it still depends on the outcome as we know The scheme is on its "pilot" intake.

For the time being, let hope for a very positive outcome of the new scheme!

Understanding the ranking system

By completing an Expression of Interest, you automatically receive a score based on a number of criteria. The highest-scoring candidates in the pool will be invited on a regular basis to provide a full application to the MPNP.

A points-based system is used to assess and score your profile, and to rank you in the pool of Expressions of Interest. You will be assessed based on factors including:
•your language ability
•your education
•your work experience
•your adaptability and other factors

These factors all play a role in your future economic success in Manitoba. A goal of the Expression of Interest system is to ensure strong economic outcomes and long-term retention in Manitoba for those selected.

Presently, its just mentioned in the website, "The MPNP accepts – only during set periods – expressions of interest to make an exploratory visit to Manitoba. Watch this page for news of 2015 intake dates" Any idea about the previous years dates?

I pray that in between 2-14 days from today, most of us in the list will receive the initial LAA release!

As promised by MPNP 2015, the draws will be every 3 weeks, or a total of 15 draws per year, up to 25 draws per year which has a frequency of a draw every after 2 weeks or 2x per month!
