Hi, Can anyone please answer? Is it a requirement that a family member(supporter) need to be in MB for 1 yr at least? if yes, is it require for a supporter to be a PR and holding PR status need to stay in MB for 1 year. what if if supporter is PR for 2 months but in MB for 2 yrs....can he support the applicant now? or he has to wait 1 yr as a PR??

Please suggest.

Yes, your supporter must be a PR or Citizen for atleast 1 year.. Here's the link..

My Timeline :-
20-05-14 submit application Online
20-05- 14 Supporter received E Mail
29-05-14 received file no.

I had successfully submitted my MPNP application but by mistake I have submitted less work experience of 1year 2months . Now my Question is :-

1 . Can I rectify my work experience by writing them mail or submitting additional papers before my sponsor submits SP - 2 ?

2. After submission will they accept and change the main application .

2 . In case I do not submit any papers will I get approval as I have adequate 62 points even after calculating 1 year experience ?

Do not worry .... it sometimes come instantly and it could come in a weeks time or even months . Have the patience . The process is getting faster now.

Greetings everyone.

I have a few questions. I really hope somebody could help me. I'm quite in the dark and not to mention about to freak out.

We're in the early stage of our application. We submitted our online application on May 18th and immediately received a confirmation email that says withing the next 48 hours we'll receive another email indicating our file number. I'm starting worry because it has been almost a week now but have not received any email at all. Our sponsor is ready with the SP2. All we're waiting for right now is our file number. Is there any way we can follow it up? Anything. Help.

Hello Nikidada!

If we base it on the MPNP Self-Assessment Points --> Factor 3: Work Experience -- of 1 year = 8 Points, so I'd say, when your total points is 60 or more, then you are eligible to apply!

Thank you Znarfier ... Thank you for writing in . I forgot to mention that my wife has actually more experience than mentioned in the apllication . Do you know if I can revise / rectify / notify the authorities for the same and get additional points in my already applied application .

We(Me & wife) applied for PNP of Manitoba and received approval letter. We also did apply in CIC for VISA. According to their recent email our file is already forwarded to Singapore Visa office.
CIC Online Application status showing that "Application Received on January 27, 2014"

Now can any one tell me How long they'll take to approved our PR VISA?

your adress should be in Singapore since you are working here but your mailing adress must be in your sponsors home adress in manitoba so that it will be faster for you to receive any notice from mpnp.

How much time I will have to wait for Good News.

i applied in general stream on feb 11 2014 with 84 points, got my file no and sent sp2 letter as well. how long they usually take for approval? presently i am in manitoba and working full time in NOC-B level job. anybody can please help and tell me how long they gonna take more.
