Hi guys,

U received LOA yayyy. Ok so sponsor interview lasted abt 15 mins... They called up my bro in canada. These are the questions they asked:
1. How close r u to ur sister?
2. What work does she do?
3. How good is her english?
4. What work do u do?
5. How will u help her settle in manitoba?
6. Does she have relatives or frends in any other state in canada?
7. Does she plan to move anywhere else in canada after getting pr?
8. What is ur sisters educational qualification?

Yeah i think thats abt it... These questions... Best of luck guys are those who r waitin fr sponsor interview

I applied on 28 July 2014 under strategic initiative stream.
My status is : Assessment in process since 21 August.

What do you think??? as all of fellows here are under FS or GS

If it is in process, you should have LOA in a couple of weeks. I am not sure about strategic initiative though...maybe ask some of the guys on the 2013 forum - maybe there will be someone with more experience

Hello Druce, something weird has happened I did check my status yesterday and it was Assessment in process, today just few minutes the status has been changed to Assessment complete, but didn't receive any e-mail from them and as I know Saturday and Sunday are a day off, please tell me how it comes and what's next ?
I am so worried to receive ineligible letter :-[

I am new here.I got my uci and Ep on 22 aug but my mother is diagnosed by cancer and she is on chemotherapy. I need to take care of my mother as my younger brother is living in hostel so i have to quit my job. therefore i want to know that is it possible for me to leave my job without any negative effect on my case?

Hi ramyfathalla, congratulations my friend! It seems like you will be receiving LOA very soon. I dont think it is ineligible/declined decision. I believe that your supporting documentation was in order and that thy did not need to review/investigate/request any more proof or documentation.

Have you or your supporter been interviewed yet?

Keep calm and stay positive. To worry will not change a thing except you making yourself old before your time.

This is positive, they are working on your case soon you will get great news ;D

I applied on 14 jan, 2014. Sponsor interview end of july, 2015. Then they requested some more docs... His new manitoba health card and my work docs. And then i received LOA in aug, 2015.

Congratulations. This gives me some sort of comfort as I am a Feb, 2014 applicant. Hope my supporter's interview comes next. I'll worry about the LOA afterwards. One step at a time....

Then, you don't have to worry about. You will get LOA very soon. just keep your self busy because if we are waiting, a day just seem so long. Imagine my status was on received for 13 months until today but there are some additonal message the changes have been made. so hopefully it will be pending soon..Just hold on. things will happen on the right time.
