My profession is regulated in Manitoba (NURSE) and I just had IELTS 6.5 OBS, Since June 2014 Manitoba is requiring ILETS 7.0 OBS in order to apply as a Manitoba Nurse. During the interview MPNP told me that as a Nurse I should have 6.0 OBS in applying for the license.

Will my IELTS score affect my CIC application just in case I will receive my LOA?????

I don't think it will affect your CIC application. They just want a valid ielts result.

Hi Satindsi,

Please follow in line with check list. All you need to submit as follows below;

1). All relevant completed form.
2). LOA approval letter photo copy.
3). Photos all relevant person.
4). Birth certificates for all relevant person (photo copies).
5). Police clearance certificates for all relevant person (Originals).
6). No additional certificates, example; educations, jobs, bank statements, IELTS, etc.
7). Online payments receipt (Only application fees, $550+Spouse+ Dependent) which one applies for you? Also you need to complete fees payment form only top section not the bank details section, for bank details section you just need to attach receipt.

Now I am totally confused….as you mentioned that we don’t even need to send IELTS certificate however it is mentioned in check list to provide with other docs.
Secondly, one of my relative who is already citizen of Canada told me yesterday that I should send my employment, education & fund detail with notarized stamp on all and there is no harm to do so.
Couple of my cousion migrated to MB in last 2 year and one is already got his visa and about to leave and I also consult with them and they also advised me to send all documents including employment, education & fund detail.
Don’t know what to do….
Please all those recently sent there paper to CIC and also got VISA….please advice.

I sent copies of educational and ielts certificate to cic with application. And when my ielts got expired then they sent me request of updated ielts certificate. And now my case is at almost last stage. My medica done and i hope that i'll get passport request very soon.

Hi. I think only one copy is being mailed. I guess your sponsor requested that the LOA will be sent to him.so it's his responsibility to mail it back to you. Congrats for the LOA!

Congratulations. Province sent only 1 copy of loa so get ur loa from ur sponsor. U will not get any more copy. Good luck for further procedure.

Well, the checklist says very clearly, do not send unnecessary documents in order to avoid delay. MPNP office is the first place to access all documents in order to issue LOA. MPNP already sent your details to CIC, it means that CIC already have your LOA. I do not think we need to send additional documents (Jobs, Education, etc) to CIC based on the checklist. CIC will inform you if they need any additional documents. Also ask other experienced members in this forum regarding this situation. Thanks.
