Applications for overseas skilled workers scheme will only be accepted till 31st July for the year 2014.

KHG and all fellows I think Rockey wants to know as MB has 5000 nominations quota per year and they have got 10000+ applications for 2014.what will happen to rest 5000+ applications even they are asking more people to apply till 31th of july 2014.what you expect will they reject the rest applications to elliminate the backlog;or all wil be processed in turnwise.comment on this important issue please.

As far as my understanding is concerned.. these applications will be processed along with the ones received till 31 july.
Rest of the 5 months of the year will be focused on reducing the processing time and the backlog.

In my opinion they will still continue processing the rest of the applications. They are just not going to accept anymore applications after end of july so that they can eliminate or at least lessen their backlog. So it means they are going to focus on the applications on hand until the end of the year.

Again, only my opinion.. Other mates' opinions are all good so we can discuss what really is going on.

Yes, it includes both GS and FS applications. Overseas skilled workers scheme means those applicants that are not in canada.

Reference to form IMM 0008 under dependent section, question-16(C), Provide the name of your current spouse/common-law partner?
I am an applicant so, do I need to put my wife's name or my wife needs to put my name? This section is related with dependent's information but form is for main applicant.

If main applicant is filling it then write wifez name. If wife is filling then vice versa.
I am almost done with my forms. Just need to get police clearance certificate. Check list says pcc for past 10 yrs or since the age of 18 if u r 28 yrs old. What wl u do? I personally believe that pcc shud be provided here for past 10 yrs as this is most recent.

Thank you KHG for your prompt reply. I have got my PCC from my date of birth time until 7th July. Sometimes it would be hard to maintain a raw schedule from age of 18th to 28th years. As different police station maintain different format. Also most PCC mention date of birth, name, nationality and "NO TRACE FOUND", etc.
