MPNP Application Batch 2013

Hi all
A bad news for me, I have received ineligible letter from MPNP yesterday.
Following is the reason –
-You did not demonstrate proof of your connection to Manitoba as outlined in the eligibility criteria. Specifically, based on the documents your Manitoba supporter provided, he did not demonstrate that he has been living in Manitoba continuously for at least one year.

But, my supporter shows the required documents and gets confirmed before submitting his documents. Most important thing is that he is living Manitoba since 2002 with student visa/work permit and obtain his residency at 2012.
My disappointment is that they even ask/mail/phn call for additional/missing documents from my supporter. Without asking anything they issue ineligible letter which they identify after seven months!!!!
It's a ultimate stupidity and most inefficiency of the system. Very unfortunate.

Try to write to them about this issue and explain everything like you are seeing this. In other way you have only one option - to request a review with needed explanations and updates.
But what I see - is your supporter received his PR status after July 2012, right? If it's true, I'll explain to you why you got a refusal letter.

Sure, but this is just my thoughts.
If supporter received PR after July 2012 that means that Mahbubulalam applied to MPNP with supporter who didn't live in the province min. 1 year as a PR or citizen, coz that's their main rule - supporter must be a Canadian citizen or a PR for 1 year or more and only then he is ready for supporting MPNP applicants. And a student visa could be not enough to to a supporter in this case.

I made some inquiries about the status of my application and I got a reply from MPNP as stated below:

Hello.

Please be advised that the application will be accepted for assessment. Once a decision has been made the applicant will get notification in writing of the outcome.

I hope things are still on track with this mail from MPNP. I congratulate those in this forum who had their sponsor interview, LOA and general progress on their applications, while I also sympathize with those who had ineligible letters. God knows best and would create better opportunities for you. Meanwhile don't give up, keep making application until you get what your heart desired. once there is life there is hope. You should try contacting them, but it will take time because you still don't have any UCI number.

There might be a possibility that they returned your application because of incomplete documents. You should also try asking MPNP what to do.

Just for your reference, one of my friends has submitted their file in late December to CIC but still didn't get any reply. Also it might be because that CIC or MPNP always keep saying now a day, online base application processing time will take faster than the paper base application system.
