I am supposed to get my notes Monday (fingers crossed)

Agent told me back ground and security started and then another agent told me she doesn’t have access to that kind of information but could still tell me it hadn’t started

Wish it was that simple in my case...there is absolutely nothing about my application that should cause any delays. January applicant, sponsor approval and document request in Feb, documents uploaded Feb 21. After that...a whole lot of nothing.

I think Bafonso's statement is quite bold and assumptive and tbh, there is simply no way to know that as fact. It really depends on the efficiency and workload of the officer as well as various bring forward dates. Every application is different and just because many April apps are getting DM absolutely does not mean March should be wrapping up.

Are you sure they are not waiting for something else? Do you have notes? At this time requesting notes would be appropriate. I am assuming you got aor2 from Mississauga?

a lot of waiting and a lot of guessing. it's almost over.

I have ordered notes, nothing there that they requested other than what they already received. Talked to the call centre staff, nothing they can see either. Sent a case specific enquiry, got a reply back that said "we have everything we need..."
Never got any AOR2 from Mississauga, was told first that it was going to London, then Ottawa. Emailed Ottawa and they replied that Mississauga is processing my case, which also the GCMS notes indicate. Doesn't really look like anyone touched my file since first week of April, when there is a note from a visa officer that they received the documents they requested.

Well, I got a fun little lesson.

Called and emailed everyone on the 26th because we have been sitting in DM mode in late Sept. Yesterday, my husband happened to charge his Australian mobile (he landed in June) to check and sure enough, on Oct 27th he was emailed his PPR. I've been a miserable (albeit pregnant) hag an extra week almost whilst this letter has been waiting. We are mailing today. Wow. Time to chill out.
