We were asked by Mexico City VO for a new medical, which we have done and sent. We sent it both through email, and also DHL (which was received and signed for). We had until April 6th to comply with their request. Is that when they will relook at our file and things will start moving again? How will I know for sure that they've received the new medicals?

May I ask you when did you do your first Medicals?, I did mine upfront in July, but I filled my app until October I'm hoping they don't ask me for a new one.

When did your file get transferred to MVO?

Have no idea, I guess January 27, 2017. I received the SA on January 26, saying my file got transfer to Mexico...

I received the same letter when i sent an email updating CIC of my pregnancy, I also have a third line on the eCAS requesting documents (for us it was re send the Passport photos).
No AOR2 yet, I don't know if the application hasn't arrive to Mexico or it has but have not opened yet. so we have to wait until received the dam letter, or until another line appears on the eCAS.

My sponsorship application status disappeared from the eCAS a few weeks after it was approved and I am not able to find it any more. I shouldn't worry about it.

I sure hope your app is in Mexico. You got AOR1 in Jan, a month ahead of me. I think nothing is going to happen until we get that letter. I was teling my partner maybe it'll happen by the end of April. He told me I was being too optimistic. I think he is used to things being done at a snail's pace in Latin America.

That is very strange how your eCAS has just disappeared. I finally figured out what people here are talking about on the Sponsor side and PR side. I went back in and used my UCI# and the Sponsor side magically appeared (duh). I had been using the app # to open eCAS and that only shows the PR side. I guess you tried all the different #'s to get into eCAS and still no luck?

Hopefully you will hear something soon. Good that you are not stressing over this as you have to take care of bebe too!

I have tried UCI number, file number and receipt number and all 3 shows the same info for me..

You have to use sponsor's UCI number to see the sponsor side in eCAS, with PA's UCI number and application number you see PA side.

Hi Everyone,

My husband requires an ARC to return to Canada. We sent in his ARC request approx. 1 month ago. Today I received this email from CIC:

"We acknowledge receipt of the documents you have recently submitted. In order to finalize your application please send the following:

1)Complete address in which you intend to live in Canada.

2) Please send us by e-mail an electronic prepaid airway bill from the company of your choice and we will return your documents needed for travel as soon as they are ready.

Should you choose UPS, FedEx, DHL or the company of your choice for your shipment, please follow these recommendations..."

Does this mean that our ARC request has been approved? The email didn't ask for his passport and nothing has been changed on eCas or his Gckey. Is it possible they forgot to ask us to send his passport? What are they sending us? HELP!

We did our medicals way back in March 2016.. life happened and we couldn't file our app until September 2016. So our original medicals have already expired. We were hoping they would extend them but they requested new ones. That's alright, my husband got them done the very next day.

Yes, stress at minimum. When I put my UCI number and my information(sponsor) both information appear for SA and PR; so that is not visible anymore. But I am still able to see the PA with my Husband UCI and his info. I have checked the page every day this week. No news yet.

Yes in Latin America, or at least in Mexico one simple thing can take months to be ready! :'(

No they really need something, either schedule A background info, pcc if it wasnt sent, or anything else

We sent the Background declaration. i am hopping is the PCC then because that is the only thing we are not able to send up front, I just re-read the lines and they actually started to processing the PA application, that was not there yesterday. So they added 2 lines the one saying they started the app March 28, and the one requesting documents on March 29. Now i am really hoping is the Police clearances! if not then i will be happy either way! i just want to hear updates!

I am getting frustrated!!! last time I received an email from CIC was Feb 16th. asking for the Federal Police Certificate (Constancia de Antecedentes Registrales), I sent it and was received on March 8 and since then nothing change on ECAs!!!! line #3 say Medicals received and thats it!!!

Does somebody have an idea what is next?
