Oh okay. thats really frustrating!,
I know the feeling!

me and my spouse lived in canada together for 3 years,(he was there 4 years in total.) before he was ordered to leave. So we also had to pack up our life and come to mexico while we wait for the process to finalize.
So we pretty much had our life there, all our friends, etc. everything seems to be put on hold right now. Its frustrating, we want to get back to our life again.
I choose to come here and stay with him, because we had a feeling it would be a long process... which is has been! lol.

haha! really! thats too funny, now ur mexalvadoran. hahah! or Salvexican. :p

I've never been in canada before, i was living in kansas city until 7 months ago
I lived there for almost 9 year, i got married in the US, and my wife and i lived there for a couple of months after our marriage
And then i came back here to el salvador, my wife came to visit me for a week and then she left because she was about to give birth
So i haven't seen my daughter yet, thats why i pray to be in canada by christmas
I wish u the best, i hope you be able to be with your husband once and for all
And i always have pupusas on christmas eve, its like a tradition lol
WantToBeInCanada, are your wife & daughter Canadian citizens? from what i've seen with other cases from El Salvador there seems to be an average of 5 months processing at the VO, at least that was the case for processing in Guatemala, and I think Mexico can be a bit faster. Ours is also going through Mexico but we're relatively early in the process. We're also applying from El Salvador and by my count we'll probably be hearing from the VO until January.

Good luck to you and for a quick reunification with your family.

Unfortunately my case wasnt like that my wife couldn't stay here with me because of our daughter
We decided that the best was for me to stay here by myself
But i know i'll see them soon, and thats what give me the strenght to endure this by myself

By the way i guess Salvexican its more like hahaha

Your not alone there others here that are also seperated with children, me being one of them. Its tough being apart but you just have to keep your eye on the prize. I have lots of moments of frustration and anger that we cant be together and have limited visits, but one day we will never be seperated again and that is what keeps up going:) Stay strong !!

Yeah that was the best choice for your daughter for have her in Canada :)

Congrats to those moving forward with their applications!

I have another question. My wife(Mexican) had a 10 year visa to the USA that expired 5 years ago. I'm a citizen of Canada. We are interested in flying through the USA and taking holidays there. Anyone have any experience on renewing a B2 visa while waiting for a spousal PR that might know if she is likely to get it or is she likely to have problems? ::) Thanks in advance.

I have 2 questions

First. On the VO AOR they quote 6 months for the rest of the processing. Do we know if that is 6 months from the date of the AOR or 6 months from when they recieve the PGR??

Second.. what is pupusas??? hahaha ;D

It should be 6 months from either when they received file, or aor. one or the other. but definatly not PGR. because usually thats the last thing they do before you get ppr.
:D

and pupusa are a delicious salvadoran food!, heres a link!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pupusa

So they dont necessarily wait for the PGR to arrive before the open your file?
