I applied for permanent resident and put my husband as a dependent. ....my case was received June the 4th 2014 and it was in processed since July 2014.......now they have ask us to do medicals.......is this a sign of approval or wat?

obviously it is a good sign as they are now working on your application
after medical exams you will hopefully be getting your Pr status/application completed in 2-8 months

Btw did you receive your AIP letter(approval in principal) along with the medical request email?
