'MEDICALS SENT'-------London CHC------Waiting for Next Stage (probably PPR)

I had applied in FSW category,
My pps reached CHC-london on 16th march and they stamped visa on 30th march,ecas changed to decision made on 5th april and i received sms frm riyadh embassy yesterday...sure today was the D-DAY..passports with COPR delivered today.
@ Aspire:I already received my pps..i am not based in riyadh..i m in Yanbu.

I know the "tail-end" is the most frustrating part i.e waiting to receive our passports..I hope every1 here receives their passport very soon.

You are right...the "tail-end" is the most frustrating part. Going by your timeline, I don't expect my pp to reach here before April 18, 2011....gosh!!! that's too late. Have to travel out of country for official purposes...

Hello Every1,
Today i Received my passports with COPR..visa is valid till 09/12/2011..and all details r perfect i.e without any errors.

Regarding SMS from embassy:"please be informed that your immigration pckg will be sent to you today by aramex,AWB# *******" So this is the sms I got yesterday.

I have a question. I have done my medicals on the 21st of June 2010.

I received an email from CHC London ( via my representative) 2 weeks ago requesting an updated application form (Schedule 1, Schedule 3, IMM5406) in addition to an updated police clearance report. The police clearance report I submitted was back in January 2010 and they wanted an updated one. I submitted all the required documents the following week.

My question is: in the email CHC said they wanted the updated documents within 60 days, but advised us to send them ASAP because my landing deadline is the 21st of June, since that's the date my medicals expire. Now that CHC has all the documents, when do you think they will request me to send the passport? Shall I push my representative to follow up with them an ensure they received the documents, or will CHC act on their own for the next steps.

I would suggest you scan and e-mail these forms and PCCs to: re-london-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca . May be you can mention in this e-mail that you would be rather happy if they could expedite the processing of your application on the basis of these scanned documents (rather than postponing processing until the paper documents are attached to your file).

Of course, its difficult to tell if your request would be entertained, but no harm in making a request. After all, this is a reasonable request.

Also, do not hesitate to follow up on the receipt of these documents and processing status soon after these paper documents gets delivered to CHC-London.

Allhamdolilah, Today I received PPR step 1 letter from London. I have to submit the photocopies and photographs within 45 days, after which they will send further instructions.

We sent our pps via DHL from Kuwait. It cost us around KD 30.000. Now, we are waiting for them to be returned to us...with the visas, of course

Congrats G2009!!

You will have to send a SELF ADDRESS ENVELOPE along with ur PPS to CHC London.
Once the visa is stamped , CHC London will courier your PPs to CHC Abu Dhabi, and from there ARAMEX, will give you a call and deliver your PPs to you. They will charge you around AED 100 (If you are in UAE). Other GCC countries, i am not aware of the charges.

Dear all,

I am August 2009 applicant under 0213.

My wife and I did our medicals at the end of September 2010 and our new born on 30 November 2010. I send CHC London enquiry about the status of my application, they replied that they are yet to received spousal medicals. I then replied giving them tracking number of the medicals send last September 2010, but did not receive any reply from them since two weeks back. RFPR fee is paid in October 2010.

What do you think about my status and when do you expect I will receive PPR.

Hi all, chc london has asked me for updated police certificate and mentioned on the email that once they received this they will send the instruction on how to send the passport for visa issuance. after i submit this how long do u think it will take to receive the PPR?
