'MEDICALS SENT'-------London CHC------Waiting for Next Stage (probably PPR)

I have sent immigration history and supplimentry forms with my application. I have received PPR on email as a reply to my enquiry for my application status after medical.

Congratulations.... i am thinking to send a case specific inquiry regarding my status and also to know whether thy reach my medical report. My doctor send the medicals on April 5th. I need some help that how can i apply, i can c only post address of london immigration office in the website. Is their any other way like email or by phone call we can do that. Please share ur idea and send the links.

I sent an email to London CHC yesterday and now they replied me:
They mentined in their email that the background checks on my file have been completed and my file is awaiting officer review !!!
This is the last day that our medical is valied !!! :-[
any idea???

I have seen this happening to few members, its good sign that they replied, so wait and check mail as well as spam for their reply, i got my mesg in spam, [may be becoz its coming from a diff domain], in your situation be prepared to spend on another medical, but you still have hope and almost surety to get visa....

i am happy & sad at the same time for u---i am happy coz it loks like now they will ask for ur passports but i am sad coz it might that they will ask for the 2nd medical as the 1st medical is expiring on 23 July, 2010 (this is the date by which u were supposed to enter Canada) & thus making u to spend some more money for their own failure---i don't believe that they couldn't finish this background check at least 1/2 months b4 to allow u to at least save some valuable time + money!!

overall i think it's a good sign but i hope it doesn't happen to everyone.

plz do keep us posted of any developments & whether they ask u for a 2nd medical (i sincerely hope & pray that they issue u visa without any more medical & nonsense time wasting!!)

I heard somewhere (I cannot remember where?) else that maybe they wil extend the medical for 3 months !!!
I am not sure but I hope we will get PPR soon without redo medical coz as you know we have to pay much more money in UK to do it.
The officer in his/her reply did not mention about our medical validation !!!
Anyway , thanks again and best wishes to everybody.

They promised that all of us will be in Canada in maximum 12 months after submittion our documents and I believed it , I think I made a mistake.
I am tired and hopefully receive PPR in few next days.

there is a option tht VO london can extend ur medical for 3 months. sure thy will do if its there mistake. let it be little late coz in canada its recession he he he he he . but don't worry things will be alright

Hi friends,
It is more than 5 months I submitted my full documentations in London visa office but I did not get AOR yet. Although E-CAS shows "Received by Visa Office." Is it any sign of negative assessment?
Anybody else who did not get second AOR but got medical request please share your experience.

it will be really good if they extend the medicals for 3 months----is this only for u or it's for all applicants?
