Just out of curiousity i am asking this question. You r already working in UK as STAFF NURSE. What prompted u to file for Canada? In Canada do u have to sit for CRNE to get a job? Is Canada better than uk pay wise.

Send them a friendly nudge in an email asking if there has been any update as your post hasn't been reliable the last month

Robbie,thank you for the help.

I sent them an email and I received an answer that they are doing background check and it can take several months.
Is there anyone with the similar experience? I am not sure is this some form of security check or what?

Got the next lot of medical request (my son was misdiagnoised as being ADHD so had to have an IQ test done by clinical psychologist. All normal) as DMP is sending them today. Puts us back about a week.

My situation is as follows.....

Skilled worker application through London using a lawyer as a representative.
Full submission sent end Nov 2009.
Medical request sent to me April 23 2010
Medical done in UK May 5th 2010
Medical sent and RPRF payment all sent to London May 14.

Current info know....Nothing. Have not heard anything as yet.

I have tried to read many posts on this thread. People seem to talk about a status or tracking. Is there anything I can do to track my medical?
I see people mention E-Cas and PPR, what do these mean.

I great to know other people are out there....

I will be moving to Vancouver once its all sorted so anyone who would like to stay in touch after, that would be great.

Many thanks for any info, advise, experiences anyone can give.

hi everyone.i have a query regarding medical examination.i am expecting my medical in a month.i am worried because i am a regular smoker.will smoking effect on my medical result.i am 28 years old and did't suffer from any severe condition since i am smoking. Regards

not to worry. just don't tell the DMP that u r a chain smoker but do tell them that u never had any medical condition for smoking & u r just a social smoker.
