I will just give you one small example of my personal case.

I had received my PPR on 17 Jan'11, and after dispatching my PPs, CHC took 3 months to issue VISAS, just because of SECURITY CLEARANCE !!

They usual take this long time for security check, does this related to the nationality or the countries that a person visited !

Yes it takes around average time 4 months after medicals.

I have this gut feelings that security checks were done during the time they issue PPR for you. They would have not asked for your passports in the first place if security check results were'nt in yet. Probably they were controlling the number of visa issuance per NOC per period of time (probably quarterly?). I am just speculating, please do not take this very seriously guys..

Can anybody help me with any idea i can do regarding my case,i did my medicals On the 29th of june 2010 and i submitted another police clearance on the 12th of january 2011 but didnt hear anything since that day three months ago, and it seems that my representative is not very cooperative in sending enquiries about my case, it is now 70 days and my medical will be expired

Can i send them e mail without telling the representative?

You have still not got ur pps back? How did u know then that the visa has been issued?

Three months is too long a time to be without our pps. I am getting worried now. We have already crossed 4 weeks and yet there is no clue from London VO on the status of our pps. Is there any harm in checking with them via email? Did u ever do that?

I too have sent my PP to CHC london on 9.3.11. Today i complete 6 weeks but i have not recd. th PP's back. My Ecas showed Decision Made around 3.4.11.
I wrote an email to CHC yesterday but am still waiting for their reply.

Cant understand what is happening. But im really worried coz i live with my family in UAE. And living without your PP's is not really nice.
Lets hope we recv our pp's by this Thursday atleast.

Well, last week, CHC london sent me an email that my background checks are over and they will issue visa this week.
And today , hopefully ECASE also changed to DM. So slight hope that visa is issued.

After my fourth week, i had sent and email to CHC, inquiring about the status of my PPs. So they replied me back that they cant issue visa as some background checks are still remaining.

Better to send them email after 6 week. But i hope before that you will receive your PPs back.

thank you very much for your reply, and i so much appreciate the link you sent to me i will directly use it, but is it ok even if i have representative lawyer corresponding with them(although i mentioned that he is not so cooperative about sending them enquiries), im worried that if i contact them it will affect my case, do u think that my worries are true or do u know anybody before enquired directly by email to london office, and it was normal and didnot coz trouble to his/her case

Please , remove these worries inside you that your communication with CHC will effect your case if you have a consultant.

I myself have a consultant, but i was corresponding with CHC myself.

So no worries at all dear.
