Medicals expiry

This may have been answered in the past but not able to find any relevant info. My medicals were completed on Feb'15 2017 and submitted my application on April 9th. Assuming my application is approved, how much time do I have to travel to Canada? Is it within 1 year from the date my application approved or before Feb'14 2018?

Exactly one year from the day of medicals done.

It would be valid for one year the day you have done.And it should have atleast 3 months validity when you land.

So I time my landing based on medicals date rather than application approval date. Isn't there a way to do another medical if we cant land before the expiry of medicals? I think we have 365 days to land from the date the PR was approved but if another medicals cannot be done, this time is of no use and we MUST time the landing based on medicals expiry

No, you can't do another medical to extend the landing date. If you don't land by expiry, you will need to start the PR process from scratch.
