My application for PR under Live in caregiver category is in process. My spouse is dependent in my application from overseas and i am already in Canada on open work permit. My spouse appeared for medical in April 2017 and CIC now requested for further medical assessment about his lever function test and a current assessment from hepatitis B Specialist. I want to know if the CIC allows the dependant applicants for immigration or not. Under my category if any of the family member, whether accompany to Canada with me or not, must pass the medical and security backgrounds. Everything else is fine except the CIC requested for above said test. My spouse's Hebatitis B Viral load as per his DNA report is 120 UL/mL. Would my spouse be able to pass the medical test? Please advise ASAP.
