medical examination???????

Hi everybody,

is the medical examination necessary for the work permit application? for every kind of job?

and what about the common-law, do i need that anyways?

When I did the WP last year I didn't add the medical examination.

1. No, unless you have lived in country in the list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/dcl.asp
2. Or the job involves the following occupations:

You may need a satisfactory medical assessment to obtain a work permit if:

you wish to work in facilities where it is important to protect public health, such as:
health services;
child care;
primary or secondary education; OR
you are coming to work in an agricultural occupation and you have lived in a designated country or territory; OR
