I'm due to go for a medical examination for my 4 year old son. However he does not have a passport. I have recently see the Citizen Card and I'm wondering if anybody knows with confidence or experience as to whether this will be accepted by CIC as valid proof of Identity.

It would be good to know if someone has used this successfully with regard to CIC approval!

Thanks

You need to check with the actual doctor themselves, t doesn't have anything to do with CIC. For example one office I called required it to do the medical, another did not require it and an ID was just fine. The final paper work they send in to CIC doesn't include your passport it's just their way of identifying. :) My advice is to call the doctors office and confirm everything you need to bring.

Goodluck!!! :D
